Fly Control - One of the biggest problems any horse owner has is fly control. We tried fly
traps, fly predators, fly sprays, fly foggers, just about everything on the market. Linda was
researching this on the net one day and came up with this little helpful household hint. It has
to be the easiest, cheapest way yet to control these bothersome and sometimes dangerous
pests. Two ounces of vinegar (That is just a little more than a shot glass) in their feed
morning and evening and within two weeks most of the flys were gone. Believe it or not it
really is that simple! Just plain old white distilled vinegar in the grain morning and evening
and they are gone. It takes Mike about an extra 10 minutes each feeding to do all 12 horses
and considering the benefits that is nothing.
